With the departure of that ever so tired looking guitarist John Frusciante, can the Chili Peppers maintain that lovable and depressing groove that they do oh so well? Yes they can. I've always assumed that the Peppers' signature sound was courtesy of Flea, but on the group's later albums you can definitely tell that Frusciante had a massive part to play in 'Californication''s success.
