But Jack's idyllic life capsizes after his nemesis, the wily Captain Barbossa (Rush), steals his ship, the Black Pearl, and later attacks the town of Port Royal, kidnapping the Governor's (Pryce) beautiful daughter, Elizabeth Swann (Knightly).
