If you like this series you'll probably like this installment. The size and scope of its action scenes are bigger and the visuals (including the 3D) are indeed better. But the story is poorly executed and unnecessarily complicated with poor introductions of new characters -- played by sub-par actors -- and re-introductions of once thought dead characters.
