Tamara Drewe Domestic Trailer Premiere

Based off of the Posy Simmonds penned graphic novel of the same name, Tamara Drewe follows the story of a young newspaper writer who returns to her home town in the English countryside after reinventing herself as a smoldering femme fatale.

The film is directed by Stephen Frears, working off a screenplay written by Moira Buffini. Gemma Arterton portrays the title character, with Roger Allam, Dominic Cooper, Luke Evans and Bill Camp rounding off the supporting cast.

The film premiered at the 2010 Cannes Film Festival and has already been released in France. It is scheduled for nationwide UK release on September 10th, 2010

Wow, never heard of this before. is this an international movie? or was this made in the US?

The header is spelled Drew, but the trailer spells it Drewe. I imagine it's an English thing.
