Behind The Scenes Video for SUPER 8

J.J. Abrams is writing, directing and producing the very secretive project. This weekend some behind-the-scenes footage came up showing a military presence along with many vintage cars that fit the 1979 setting.

Last month set pictures revealed a small West Virginia town being transformed. Great attention is being taken to capture late 70's era. In the video, you can see military vehicles along with 70's cars being prepped for filming. Gunfire can also be heard off camera.

Not much is known about the project except for the teaser trailer that came out with Iron Man 2 earlier this year in May. It is rumored that the story revolves around three siblings who discover they've captured an alien being on a reel of Super 8 film that they've shot. Super 8 comes out in the Summer of next year with Steven Spielbierg as a producer as well.
