TRANSFORMERS: THE DARK OF THE MOON Plot Synopsis Revealed
After Amazon revealed the actual title of the next Transformers movie, the pop-up books now unveill a quick summary on what to expect to see.
The Transformers 3 Push-Pops board books have confirmed some of the speculation surrounding the storyline of next year's film. Unfortunately nothing really new here but the movie will hit the big screen on July 1st 2011.
The Autobots, led by Optimus Prime, are back in action, taking on the evil Decepticons, who are determined to avenge their defeat in 2009’s Transformers Revenge of the Fallen. In this new movie, the Autobots and Decepticons become involved in a perilous space race between the U.S. and Russia, and once again human Sam Witwicky has to come to the aid of his robot friends. There's new characters too, including a new villain in the form of Shockwave, a longtime "Transformers" character who rules Cybertron while the Autobots and Decepticons battle it out on Earth.

This has been rumored for a while. I check out TFLAMB and tfw2005 from time to time, and there is a lot of other info out there.
But I am very stoked about the movie. I hope there is more robot to robot interaction, but we'll prob get more of Sam's typical dialogue:

Idk, I just can't get into these robots or robot-themed films. Transformers series was whatever really. The title sounds really lame. I'll watch it with my little brother since he loves robots.

I don't think you can get away with calling the movie that can they? There's got to be SOMEONE at the studio SOMEWHERE who's at least related to SOMEONE at the studio who's fighting it, (an substitute english teacher or something lol). It just doesn't make sense. I mean, shouldn't it be Dark Side of the Moon or The Darkness of the Moon? I like the 2nd one I listed.
