Chris Hemsworth Talks THOR Screenings & Dodges Questions About Loki's Future; Open Casting Call Put Out for AVENGERS

In a recent interview, silver screen's God of Thunder discusses the gigantic undertaking of taking on a character with a half a century of history and rumors surrounding a certain mischievous brother's appearnce in The Avengers.

Paramount Pictures and Marvel Entertainment present the epic adventure, "Thor," which spans the Marvel Universe from present day Earth to the realm of Asgard. At the center of the story is the mighty Thor (Chris Hemsworth), a powerful but arrogant warrior whose reckless actions reignite an ancient war. Thor is cast down to Earth by his father Odin (Anthony Hopkins) and is forced to live among humans. A beautiful, young scientist, Jane Foster (Natalie Portman), has a profound effect on Thor, as she ultimately becomes his first love. It’s while here on Earth that Thor learns what it takes to be a true hero when the most dangerous villain of his world sends the darkest forces of Asgard to invade Earth.

Attending an event for Cosmopolitan Magazine, Hemsworth was stopped by MTV News to with the inevitable questions about his first superhero outing as the Norse deity. "I have [seen 'Thor'], yeah. It's fantastic," he said, "Being that close to something, it's often pretty hard to watch yourself, but the film in so many ways is so impressive that I was swept along with it like an audience member, and that's a pretty good sign."

When asked about the recent rumors surrounding The Avengers' antagonist, the actor stated, "I'm hearing rumors, too. Marvel — the safehouse they've got — is very protective of what we say and what we don't say, so I have to keep tight-lipped about it."

i think our man Pietro said he bets it will be at the end of the captain America Film (an easter egg that is) and he's probably right, that is the last tie in Marvel film to be released before the Avengers.

Although we could have both?

I'm hoping that Natasha turn evil in this one. BITCH
