ABRAHAM LINCOLN: VAMPIRE HUNTER Set Pics Offer a Glimpse of Benjamin Walker & Dominic Cooper in Character
A few photos from the New Orleans set of the action-fantasy film show off the fully constructed set along with a first look at Walker as a young Lincoln and Cooper as his mentor.
Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter is a re-imagining of the 16th President's life that depicts him as an axe-throwing, highly accomplished killer of vampires -- an obsession of his since those bloodsuckers supposedly took the life of his mother. Lincoln eventually learns that the vampires have fled to the southern states of the U.S. and are concocting a plan to conquer and enslave the entire country -- this in turn leads to the Civil War between the Union and the Confederacy, the latter of which the vampires are aligned with.
Filming is currently underway throughout the New Orleans, Louisiana, area and the first few images from the set are now available for fans to see. Dominic Cooper is on the left of the first pic, while Ben Walker is to the right. The bottom image if of another set between takes:
