Live-Action MORTAL KOMBAT Series Set for April 12th Online Premiere

From director Kevin Tancharoen and Warner Premiere, the highly anticipated Mortal Kombat web series will make it's world premiere with special guest during a 4-hour event only viewable online.

Kevin Tancharoen, who directed and produced the popular, unofficial Mortal Kombat: Rebirth fan short that garnered over 10 million views worldwide, is bringing the same gritty directing style to this new live-action digitalmedia series. Fans will be able to delve deep into the history of the warriors they know and love including "Sub-Zero" and "Scorpion."

Shooting for Mortal Kombat recently wrapped in Vancouver, with a cast consisting of Michael Jai White, Jeri Ryan, Ian Anthony Dale, Darren Shahlavi, Ryan Robbins, Matt Mullins, Tahmoh Penikett, Shane Warren Jones, Peter Shinkoda, Tracy Spiridakos, Beatrice King and many others.

The latest news regarding the project pertains to it's premiere, which has now been set in stone:

Watch our Machinima Live Stream from 12pm - 4pm on Tuesday, April 12th. We will play Mortal Kombat exclusively with Sark, Hutch, and show Director Kevin Tancharoen. Additionally, special guest actors from the show will show off their gaming skills at the Machinima headquarters.

Stick around until 4 p.m. PST on the stream, and we'll premiere the first episode of the Mortal Kombat series. See you then!
