Olivia Munn Joins Stripper Film MAGIC MIKE Starring Channing Tatum

The TV personality has just landed a large supporting role in director Steven Soderbergh's stripper biopic film, which stars and is based on actual events from actor Channing Tatum's real life as a dancer.
Olivia Munn (The Daily Show, formerly Attack of The Show) will portray Channing Tatum's onscreen romantic interest Amber. The film is based on experiences Tatum went through in real life during his time as a male exotic dancer. The upcoming project is also one of director Steven Soderbegh's last films before he retires.
Magic Mike centers around top stripper Mike Martingano (Channing Tatum), who brings on Alex Pettyfer‘s character as a protégé. Matthew McConaughey will play the club's owner while stand-up comedian Gabriel Iglesias is his DJ and True Blood‘s Joe Manganiello and White Collar‘s Matt Bomer are both in stripper roles.
Magic Mike is directed by Steven Soderbergh (Contagion) and stars Channing Tatum, Olivia Munn, Matthew McConaughey, Joe Manganiello, Gabriel Iglesias, Alex Pettyfer and Matt Bomer. It is scheduled for theatrical release in 2012.
