KISS & MOTLEY CRUE Announce Tour; Bash RIHANNA & "Fake Bullshit" Music

The two iconic rock bands announced that they will be embarking on a co-headlining tour this summer which will reunite the groups for the first time in three decades. KISS' Gene Simmons also took aim at Rihanna and voiced his displeasure for "fake bulls***" music.

The 40 date Kiss and Motley Crue tour kicks off in Bristow, Va., on July 20 and runs through the end of the summer. Each band will perform a 90-minute set. "We're sick and tired of girls getting up there with dancers and karaoke tapes in back of them," said KISS' Gene Simmons. "No fake bulls***. Leave that to the Rihanna, Shmianna and anyone who ends their name with an 'A."

Motley Crue drummer Tommy Lee expanded upon Simmons' comments by saying that he doesn't harbor any grudge against Rihanna. "No disrespect to Rihanna, she's a great singer, but we're in a slump for some s*** that has some personality and appeal beyond a bunch of pop stuff that's floating around out there," said Lee.

"I'm glad he (Simmons) said that actually because I don't think i can bear watching another f***ing award show that is just a little bit better than American Idol. It's f***ing pathetic to watch people go out and f***ing karaoke with a bunch of lights and video. It's all completely watered down."
