LIMP BIZKIT Guitarist Wes Borland Rants Over Dislike of DREAM THEATER
While Limp Bizkit are ready to hit the studio to enter pre-production on their next studio effort, Wes Borland has unleashed over Twitter in a series of comments in which he voices his displeasure for metal band Dream Theater.
While Limp Bizkit will begin recording the follow-up to last year's 'Gold Cobra' under new label Cash Money Records (Lil Wayne, Nicki Minaj), guitarist Wes Borland tweeted some food for thought on another band known for their lengthy metal songs and confusing arrangements.
"Please explain to me what there is to like about Dream Theater. Please. I accept your challenge. Maybe. I know I’m in Limp Bizkit, one of the most hated bands in the world. But those guys can NOT write songs. Not a band. Musicians are not mathematicians. Feeling and soul over technique and speed. Not buying it and never will. Enjoy Dream Theater everyone! What a fantastic…. thing." said Borland.
During fan response over Twitter someone asked Borland "when did he join Nickelback?" after the guitarist said he was in the world's most hated band, he replied, "Oh yeah, maybe 2nd most hated."
"I wish I had never talked about Dream Theater, because now I have to think about them. At least their songs don’t get stuck in your head! You see, the great thing about being in the most hated band in the world, is you can say whatever you want without fear of more hatred."
