KE$HA Talks New Album; Collaboration with JUSTIN BIEBER & KEITH RICHARDS
After gracing the cover of V magazine, Ke$ha has expressed her desire to work with artists such as Justin Bieber, Keith Richards (The Rolling Stones) and The Flaming Lips. She also confirms her upcoming album will be more than just "silly white-girl rap".
Ke$ha's upcoming new studio record is still untitled with no solid release date, but the singer is hard at work and says the effort will shock and excite people. "The first record was all me living in L.A., trying to pay my rent, have a really good time, and look good on nothing," she said. "But ever since then I've seen how many people my music can reach, and I've realized that I have somewhat of a social responsibility to make sure everything I say is positive."
Her first offering, 'Animal' debuted at number one on the Billboard Chart in 2010 with over 1.4 million in sales to date. The 25-year-old pop star has expressed a desire to work with a wide range of artists, possibly on her new album saying:
"The range of artists I want to work with is so vast it's bizarre. I would love to have Keith Richards on the record. I would sure as hell like to do a collaboration with Bieber and at the same time do a song with the Flaming Lips. If someone is a real artist, you can't confine them to a particular genre. It's my mission to make it all make sense somehow."
