New Image of Stephen Amell as Green Arrow in the CW's Upcoming Series ARROW

DC Entertainment's newest superhero adaptation ARROW, starring Stephen Amell, Katie Cassidy and Colin Donnell, will air as part of the network's upcoming Fall lineup on Wednesday nights at 8 pm before Supernatural.

After being marooned for five years on a remote island, former billionaire playboy Oliver Queen returns with a mysterious agenda and a lethal set of new skills that he uses in a war on crime.


Stephen Amell (Hung, The Vampire Diaries, 90210) will portray the title role of Green Arrow, as well as his alter ego -- reformed bad boy and billionaire Oliver Queen. Katie Cassidy (Supernatural, Gossip Girl) stars as the show's female lead Dinah Laurel Lance -- also known to comics fans as the second Black Canary -- a lawyer with the City Necessary Resources Initiative. Willow Holland (The O.C.) will play Thea Queen, Oliver’s celebutante younger sister who has a rebellious streak. Colin Donnell (Pan Am) will play Tommy Merlyn, Oliver’s best friend, a trust fund playboy who hopes to resume the good times now that Oliver has returned.

ARROW is executive produced by Greg Berlanti, Marc Guggenheim, Andrew Kreisberg and David Nutter, who is directing, from a teleplay by Kreisberg & Guggenheim, story by Berlanti & Guggenheim. Melissa Kellner Berman is co-executive producer.
