Seth MacFarlane's TED Now Scheduled for Theatrical Release June 29th

From Universal Pictures and the creator of Family Guy comes the irreverent comedy about a man who must deal with his teddy bear who has come to life. Also starring Joel McHale and Patrick Warburton, Ted hits theaters this July.


Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane brings his boundary-pushing brand of humor to the big screen for the first time as writer, director and voice star of Ted. In the live action/CG-animated comedy, he tells the story of John Bennett (Mark Wahlberg), a grown man who must deal with the cherished teddy bear who came to life as the result of a childhood wish…and has refused to leave his side ever since.

Ted, a live action/CG-animated comedy from Universal Pictures, stars Mark Wahlberg, Mila Kunis, Giovanni Ribisi, Joel McHale, Jessica Stroup, Patrick Warburton, Laura Vandervoort and Seth MacFarlane as the voice of Ted. The film was originally scheduled for release on July 13th, 2012, but will now hit theaters on June 29th. This slot was until recently taken by G.I. Joe: Retaliation which has now been moved to March 2013.
