Beastie Boys's Adam 'MCA' Yauch passed away earlier this year after battling cancer, the hip hop world lost a legend. Now the details of Yauch's Will not only include finances but the exclusion of any of his music to be used in advertisements.
Adam Yauch left his $6.4 million estate to his wife, Dechen, and daughter, Tenzin Losel. Yauch's wife is now the executor of his estate which means she will make all decisions in regards to future Beastie Boys contributions from the late rapper. Another interesting aspect of the Will details that Yauch refuses to have any of his artistic property/music used in any advertisements.
"Notwithstanding anything to the contrary, in no event may my image or name or any music or any artistic property created by me be used for advertising purposes," said Yauch's Will.
