FANTASTIC FOUR Reboot Scheduled for Theatical Release in March 2015

20th Century Fox is moving forward with a relaunch of their superhero film franchise under the direction of Chronicle helmer Josh Trank.

Trank made a splash this year directing the found footage styled superhero film Chronicle, and has entered into an exclusive partnership with Fox to handle some of their planed genre films including the video game adaptation Shadow of the Colossus. But first he will help reboot director Tim Story's ultra kid-friendly Fantastic Four franchise that starred Ioan Gruffudd, Jessica Alba, Chris Evans and Michael Chiklis.

Fox has now announced that the project is scheduled for theatrical release on March 6th, 2015. It joins a year already packed with big budget genre films including The Avengers 2, Star Wars: Episode VII, Justice League and Avatar 2.
