The Action Room Interviews Cast and Crew of TAMARA DREWE

EXCLUSIVE: The Daily BLAM! was invited to a private, advanced screening of the British graphic novel adaptation Tamara Drewe. We sent our New York operatives correspondents, The Action Room, who also got a chance to sit down with Gemma Arterton, Dominic Cooper, Luke Evans and director Stephen Frears.

Based off of the Posy Simmonds penned graphic novel of the same name, Tamara Drewe follows the story of a young newspaper writer who returns to her home town in the English countryside after reinventing herself as a smoldering femme fatale.

Our partners, The Action Room, sent Scout Durwood out to the interview section. She proceeded to have some fun and got down to the real answers we need to hear from this brilliant cast and crew. It seems they all enjoyed the fun, with the possible exception of Stephen Frears.

As you can see from the video, The stars of Tamara Drewe know how to have some fun and have a laugh which shows through easily in the movie. The film is directed by Stephen Frears, working off a screenplay written by Moira Buffini. Gemma Arterton portrays the title character, with Roger Allam, Dominic Cooper, Luke Evans and Bill Camp rounding off the supporting cast.

Tamara Drewe is in theaters now in the UK and can be seen in the States currently in New York and Los Angeles. It opens in a much wider release over the first few weeks of November. To read Tony Wolf's review in which he says the movie is "a highly enjoyable comedic romp", click HERE!

Good work Action Room! It was a fun watch, I dare say I might actually see this one now, first time I've watched the trailer.
