On the second night of back to back sold out shows in London, Guns 'N Roses fans were treated to very rare treat. Duff McKagan, original bassist for the band, joined Axl and company on stage for a few songs.
About 4:45pmCST Sebastian Bach, opening act for GnR, posted on his Twitter account:
Some serious shit is about to go down !!!! Get fucking ready to have your mind blown London England !!!!! @gunsnroses
A few minutes after that:
@duff64 DUFF McKAGAN just played You Could BE Mine w @gunsnroses !!! So great to see my old buddy !! #fb http://yfrog.com/9fr70aj

Duff played on: You Could Be Mine, Nice Boys, Knockin' On Heaven's Door and returned during the encore for Patience.
According to Rock Radio, Rose claimed tonight's reunion came about by accident because he and McKagan happened to be staying at the same hotel. He told the crowd: "There was this guy at the end of my hallway playing all this loud music and shit. What the fuck? Oh — it's Duff!"

I'll admit, I'm a sucker for Gn'R, and I probably would have gone crazy had I been there. Some habits die hard...
