TRANSFORMERS 4 Will Feature a Completely New Line Up of Robots

Hasbro recently made it known that due to poor sales of merchandise from the last Transformers film their plan is to introduce a new "cast" of Autobots and Decepticons in the upcoming fourth installment.
Transformers: The Dark of the Moon was last year's addition to director Michael Bay's billion dollar Transformers franchise. Although already locked into a theatrical release date of June 27th, 2014, no solid information about Transformers 4 has been made known.

Now, Hasbro CEO Brian Goldner has noted that the film will feature a completely new line up of robot characters in an effort to boost sales of the tie-in toys. Presumably, sales of the extensive toy line faltered during the last film because too many were repetitive from previous films.
Regarding the much talked about follow up, Bay recently said:
"It’s not a reboot, that’s maybe the wrong word. I don’t want to say reboot because then people will think we’re doing a Spider-Man and starting from the beginning. We’re not. We’re taking the story that you’ve seen—the story we’ve told in three movies already—and we’re taking it in a new direction. But we’re leaving those three as the history. It all still counts."
