Captain Jack Lands on Two Mag Covers Promoting PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN: ON STRANGER TIDES

Walt Disney Pictures is getting ready to unleash their fourth film in the widely popular Pirates franchise, while it's star Johnny Depp says he would be on board for a sixth installment.

Captain Jack Sparrow (Johnny Depp) crosses paths with a woman from his past (Penelope Cruz), and he’s not sure if it’s love–or if she’s a ruthless con artist who’s using him to find the fabled Fountain of Youth. When she forces him aboard the Queen Anne’s Revenge, the ship of the formidable pirate Blackbeard (Ian McShane), Jack finds himself on an unexpected adventure in which he doesn’t know who to fear more: Blackbeard or the woman from his past.

"As long as we can put all the puzzle pieces together, I would most definitely consider it," said the in demand actor to Entertainment Weekly regarding another outing as Captain Jack Sparrow in a fifth Pirates film. Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides is scheduled for 2D and 3D release in May 2011. The film is directed by Rob Marshall and stars Johnny Depp, Penelope Cruz, Ian McShane, Geoffrey Rush, Kevin McNally, Astrid Bergès-Frisbey, Sam Claflin, Stephen Graham, Yuki Matsuzaki and Gemma Ward.
