Hasbro Signs G.I. JOE: RENEGADES; TRANSFORMERS: PRIME Executive Producer to a Development Deal

The four year agreement covers the development of children's animated shows by Kline. Jeff Kline has previously been involved with the company in producing and writing both G.I. Joe: Renegades and Transformers: Prime, of which he is also the creator.

Hasbro took a big leap into the television market last year with the launch of its cable channel The Hub in partnership with Discovery Networks. The Hub features many shows based upon Hasbros many toy lines and games. Along with the cartoons based upon Hasbro products, Kline's other work Men in Black: The Animated Series is featured on the network. This move marks another step in solidifying Hasbro as a key media player with an increasing amount of films and series based off its products.
