The Pulp Fiction stars are in talks to join the ensemble cast which includes recently added Blake Lively and previously announced Taylor Kitsch, Aaron Johnson, Salma Hayek, and Benicio Del Toro.

Blake Lively, who was said to have been picked over other young actresses, will play the role of O. Travolta will play a burned out DEA agent named Dennis and Thurman will play Lively's mother, Paqu.
Savages centers around two Laguna-based pot growers whose product is so good their best friend, a female named O, is kidnapped and they must now work for a Mexican cartel to save her. Stone is looking at Salma Hayek to play the female leader of the cartel who forms a bond with the kidnapped girl.
Universal Pictures is finanacing and distributing the adaptation of the Don Winslow novel with a screenplay from Winslow and Shane Salerno. Production is set to begin in early July with several more roles said to be filled.

I think he's in the same ilk as Mel Gibson, Bruce Willis, Kevin Costner and all the big name 80s/90s stars. They have had plenty of campy performances but some really great roles mixed into their careers.
As for Lively, I've only seen her on a few eps of GG as well as the films Pippa Lee and The Town. Solid performances from her in those two movies IMO

As for Lively...
i disagree. but, that's cool... you say to-may-to and i say to-mah-to....
to each his own.

I agree with Pietro. She may not be Oscar material yet, but Lively takes acting seriously. She's not as bad as someone like Megan Fox, and I wouldn't be surprised if she got better in GL.

I think Lively is still developing into a solid actress. She is not as bad as some may see her to be. She is actually very good as Poni said from her performances in Town and Pippa Lee. She has potential compared to the other upcoming actors and actresses.
