Michael Jackson MMO Game in the Works

SEE Virtual Worlds is developing a Massively Multiplayer Online game based around the late self proclaimed King of Pop's career. This is not a joke. The game is called Planet Michael.

The game will revolve around different locales based on Jackson's songs like Thriller and Billie Jean. Players will conquer the forces of evil through song and dance instead of violence.

"There is no doubt we will be open to people joking about it and criticizing it. We'll just have to roll with that as it comes, so to speak," said developer Josh Gordon.

There is no word on an official release date or platform, but we have to assume it will be a PC exclusive since it's an MMO (Massively Multiplayer Online). Gordon further stressed that the game will be decent and that the backlash of such a concept is to be expected but not stressed on.

"Michael Jackson's such a big name and he's such a big legend that no matter what we do, we are going to get a lot of people who are excited, and we are going to get people who criticize us. And we have just taken that as the way it is going to be," said Gordon.
