X-Men

The Wolverine

The next installment of Wolverine's solo adventures finds the adamantium laced mutant heading to Japan before he joined up with the X-Men. The movie will rely on samurai elements and is based upon the character's 1982 mini-series written and illustrated by Chris Claremont and Frank Miller respectively.

Wolverine is rumored to start out in a Canadian prison with an opportunity to get out if he goes to Japan and will supposedly face off against Silver Samurai at some point. (by Bryan Kritz)

X-Men First Class charts the epic beginning of the X-Men saga, and reveals a secret history of famous global events. Before mutants had revealed themselves to the world, and before Charles Xavier and Erik Lensherr took the names Professor X and Magneto, they were two young men discovering their powers for the first time. Not archenemies, they were instead at first the closest of friends, working together with other Mutants (some familiar, some new), to stop Armageddon.
